Member Benefits
SAA members are entitled to:
- Attend the annual meeting.
- Register for SAA seminars and workshops.
- Vote in officer elections.
- Propose panels, seminars, and workshops for upcoming meetings.
- Apply to demonstrate projects among the SAA’s Digital Exhibits.
- Receive discounts on books, journals, and databases.
- Apply for the SAA/Huntington one-month residential fellowship at the Huntington Library.
- Apply for the SAA/Folger one-month residential fellowship at the Folger Shakespeare Library.
- Consult the SAA’s announcements, resources, and archives pages.
- Browse and search the SAA’s Membership Directory.
Graduate-student members of the SAA are also entitled to:
- Apply for travel grants to attend the annual meeting.
- Compete for the J. Leeds Barroll Dissertation Prize.
- Submit a paper for the NextGenPlen competition.
- Attend the Graduate-Student Breakfast hosted by members of the SAA’s Board of Trustees.
SAA members in contingent positions are also entitled to:
- Apply for travel grants to attend the annual meeting.
