SAA Graduate Committee
The Shakespeare Association of America Graduate Committee is looking for up to five new committee members! The SAA Graduate Committee represents the interests of graduate students in the organization. We create programing both in-person and online to support graduate students through their programs, in the organization, and into the job market and early career opportunities. Any current Ph.D.-level graduate students are welcome to apply.
Committee Expectations:
These are collaborative roles that will require attendance at monthly 90-minute meetings, as well as at the annual SAA conference, and our virtual and in-person events. Members will be expected to work on their own individual projects outside of these meeting times. Ideal members are proactive and organized; they are both good collaborators and capable of completing their individual projects.
The application consists of three main components:
- a brief (100-250 words) statement on who you are and why you want to join the committee
- a file upload of your CV
- a selection of your preferred responsibilities on the committee
You will also have the opportunity to share any additional information with the committee, including new ideas or unique perspectives you believe you could contribute.
