Shakespeare’s First Folio: 1623–2023

Shakespeare’s First Folio: 1623–2023 is a public humanities project in Portland, Oregon, that commemorates the 400th anniversary of a single but extraordinary book. Staged at Portland State University and the surrounding city from August 2023 through April 2024, the project features an exhibition, a speaker series, a film festival, and performances of Shakespearean drama, opera, and music.
